I got the most amazing dog from CLD/Sue, his name is Adonis and he is a real adonis stopping everyone in my area in their tracks.
Adonis is a beautiful red Lurcher ( Greyhound mix) sweet, cuddly and a big couch potato. When I first saw Adonis on CLD website, I fell in love with him and I hadn’t met him yet. I called Sue to arrange a visit and she tells me that he is partially blind, doesn’t see things near him, hence hitting his head against an open cupboard door, post. That didn’t turn me off at all and went down to visit Adonis. It was love at first sight. I made arrangement to pick him up a couple of weeks later.
Because of his vision problem, I re-arranged my home so that he didn’t bumped his head in coffee tables etc…. When Sue heard about that through the home inspection person that came to my house, she laughed and thought it was sweet.
My experience with CLD and specially Sue was amazing and I truly recommend rescuing dogs from there. Sue is a wonderful person, her love for dogs and rescues is outstanding and she has become a good friend, and she has been there for me when my baby girl Jazz (13 year old whippet) passed away last June.
