AHH Monica. Thank you for FINDING our site and taking the time to contact us. There are few raw friendly vets so we make our own. EDUCATE your vet (he has NO nurtitional backgorund anyway and all he knows is the propoganda spun by the food companies). The more he SEES WITH HIS OWN EYES your dog as healthy, happy and with no 'issues' or illnesses the more he can be swayed. Unfortunately with no illnesses you wont BE at the vet often enough to talk to him ;-)) Vets only see sick dogs. Yours wont be one of them

OMG - what an amazing wealth of information you have on this site. I fed by Golden Retriever who died last year at age 13 solid gold without even knowing it was a 'good food'. she enjoyed good health all her life!
I now have a 8 month old Mini Golden Doodle, and after 2months of GI troubles, took a bold decision and switched her to a raw diet. She is doing amazing!! She has clear eyes, ears, and teeth. Her coat shines, and she smells 'sweet' instead of rancid 'doggy smell'. Her poop is firm and very little and I am totally amazed! Wish I had done it for my old Golden years ago. I am totally sold on a raw diet...the only challenge is the vet community's position on it... does anyone have a 'raw' friendly vet in the GTA??
Cheers

Wow what a great website.....I was reading about feeding our dogs! I am so bad, negligent that I haven't done the research and chosen a better food for our pets!!! Beneful has been Dora' favourite.
Through HART I have been feeding our senior Foster dog Sally techni-cal - just wondered what your thoughts were on this brand, I didn't see it listed.
